Mosaic Announces 2016 Holiday Festivities

FAIRFAX, Va., Nov. 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Mosaic announces an exciting lineup of special events throughout the holiday season, including onsite celebrations and the return of Santa throughout December.

The season kicks off at Mosaic on December 1 with the annual holiday tree lighting in Strawberry Park. From 5-7 p.m., guests can enjoy live music, storytelling, photos with Santa and a showing of Dr. Seuss's The Grinch Who Stole Christmas on Mosaic's big screen.

On Saturday, December 10, Mosaic will partner with The Vine Church, along with the Junior League of Northern Virginia and the First Baptist Church of Merrifield, to host A Very Merrifield Christmas from 4-7 p.m. There will be music, holiday crafts, photos with costumed characters, and many more seasonal surprises.

A fresh Christmas tree lot will be run by Alexandria, Va. market Nalls Produce in Strawberry Park. For those seeking to give back this season, Mosaic's annual Giving Tree, which benefits Homestretch Virginia, will return to its spot at the Target building lobby.

Rounding out Mosaic's special holiday events, the Jewish Community Center will join Mosaic for a Chanukah menorah lighting on December 29th at sundown.

In the spirit of the season, Mosaic will offer free onsite pedicabs each weekend in December and daily from December 19-24. Santa will be at Mosaic each weekend in December and the week of December 19-24, and will make special appearances during brunch at various Mosaic restaurants.
