MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Oct. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- EDENS, one of the nation's leading retail real estate owners and developers, has announced that Total Wine & More and Vitality Bowls will open at Fifth & Alton in South Beach. These openings continue a commitment to creating a diverse merchandising mix for this standout urban center.

"Expanding the type of retail that the center offers gives residents and tourists a destination," said Jami Passer, chief investment officer for EDENS. "Whether you come for fitness or a day of shopping, it's a place to gather and spend time."

Total Wine & More, the country's largest independent retailer of fine wine, will officially open at the center this Thursday, October 15 at 9 a.m. A ribbon cutting with local dignitaries and community partner, New World Symphony, will be held the evening prior. Founded in 1991, it started as a small, independent store and has since grown to include locations in 16 states including Florida. This will be their first store in Miami Beach, serving a growing area.

Vitality Bowls, based in California, is bringing their revolutionizing Acai Bowls® to the East Coast with the early 2016 opening of their superfood cafe. The restaurant aims to be completely all-natural and healthy. In addition to the bowls, their menu includes organic salads, soups and paninis with preservative-free meats.

This announcement follows the opening of Orangetheory Fitness at the center earlier this year, a national company with an exclusive metabolism stimulating fitness program designed to increase energy.
