Plazapalooza: Fallfest 2014 At Union Planters Plaza On Oct. 26 Includes Book Drive For Local Kids

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Celebrate fall at Union Planters Plaza with family-friendly activities and a toast to Oktoberfest. Decorate your own pumpkin in exchange for a book donation to help local children.

WHAT: Activities start at 2 p.m. and include a decorate-your-own pumpkin patch, children's fitness class hosted by community not-for-profit organization Life Sports Fitness, a rock climbing wall, fire truck hay rides, and caricature and balloon artists.

Oktoberfest beer tastings with Funky Buddha brews start at 4 p.m. Food will be available for purchase from Q Bar (soon to open at the Fort Lauderdale shopping center) and Miami's Mad Chiller, known for their homemade Belgian waffles.
