CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Oct. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- EDENS, one of the nation's leading retail real estate owners and developers, announced the opening of several restaurants at The Shops at Stonefield including: Black & Orange, Parallel 38, and Cyclone Anaya's.  These restaurants will join Jason Alley's Pasture, Travinia Italian Kitchen and Burtons Grill to create a unique culinary destination in Charlottesville.  The Shops at Stonefield will open in November 2012.

The Shops at Stonefield is a highly curated mix of retailers and restaurants chosen specifically to reflect local interests as well as bring a unique experience to the community.  In addition to quality restaurants such as Jason Alley's Pasture, Travinia Italian Kitchen and Burtons Grill, the Shops at Stonefield will welcome Black & Orange, Parallel 38 and Cyclone Anaya's.

Parallel 38 is a brand new wine centric Mediterranean restaurant featuring innovative Mediterranean cuisine, created by Justin Ross.  The inspiration for the Chef Ross' restaurant is the temperate latitude of the 38th parallel, along which the world's most iconic wine regions sit like Alicante in Spain, Italy's Calabria and the Greek Ionian Islands. Parallel 38 will merge the wines and flavors of these regions together to create a unique dining destination.  There will be an extensive wine list that will offer 38 wines by the glass and 100 bottles from handpicked boutique wineries.  A Mediterranean focused menu will mix full entrees with small plates, spreads, cheeses and charcuterie from places like Greece, Italy, and Spain.

After 40 years, Cyclone Anaya's Mexican Kitchen has become a Texas legacy, serving family recipes with original and homemade flavor.  A Best-of-Texas winner, Cyclone Anaya's present an upscale variety of hand-made gourmet menu items carefully prepared from scratch.  Delicious items like Lobster Enchiladas in Chardonnay cream sauce, Lump Crabmeat Nachos, or delicious Carne Asada ala Tampiquena are the hallmarks of their exciting approach to food.

Black & Orange, a restaurant created by Raynold Mendizabal, creates gourmet burgers based on blending fresh ingredients, simple foods and bold flavors.  This will be their first location outside of Washington, D.C., where they were recently awarded the 2012 Best of DC Burger.  Unique burger flavors range from Asian-inspired Now and Zen to the No Burger No Cry, which features Jamaican habanero peppers.
