WASHINGTON, Dec. 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- EDENS, a leading national retail real estate developer, introduces four new retail partners to Cabin John Village, Potomac's vibrant neighborhood center.
The new dining options and the addition of an intimate gathering space tucked between the buildings will define the first elements to re-energize the 50-year old shopping center. With a purpose to engage community, the inspired design and canvas of retailers will spark new conversation and connectivity in the neighborhood.
"We know that Cabin John Village is a special place for this community, and has been for a long time," says, Katie Bucklew, Vice President of Development, at EDENS. "We wanted to honor that long-standing history by bringing in complementary dining options with a contemporary aesthetic for the neighbors and partners who live and work here."
Owning more than 20 properties in the greater D.C. metropolitan area and 120+ centers in its national portfolio, EDENS approaches each center's design and retail curation with the mission of community enrichment. Fostering a sense of place, the new buildings bring a welcoming communal setting to a traditional shopping center environment. Spanning nearly 225,000 SF across almost 25 acres, Cabin John Village includes nearly 60,000 SF of office space, also in the process of being renovated.
Cabin John Village, a mainstay in the community since 1967, serves as the go-to gathering place for the local community. As an in-demand destination of the Potomac area, EDENS has thoughtfully crafted an exciting mix of local, regional and national retailers to cater to the families, local professionals and visitors to the surrounding neighborhoods.
- Shake Shack (Fall/Winter 2018): Everyone's favorite modern "roadside" burger stand will unveil their first Montgomery County location at the center. Serving American favorites in a friendly, communal atmosphere, they are set to become a new premier destination for local residents.
- CAVA (Fall/Winter 2018): This Maryland-original concept was created from the love of Greek culture and a passion to share healthy Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. The fast-casual concept will bring flavorful and fresh ingredients that the entire family will love.
- Le Pain Quotidien (Fall/Winter 2018): Providing simple, elegant boulangerie fare made with healthy, organic ingredients, dine among communal tables that foster a sense of community. LPQ will offer full-service breakfast, lunch and dinner options.
- Sisters Thai (Fall/Winter 2018): Serving traditional Thai food, fun drinks and delicious desserts in a living room atmosphere, the husband and wife team behind Sister's Thai will bring their top-notch dining concept to the Potomac community. An instant favorite at EDENS' Mosaic in Fairfax County, VA, this location will be their first in Maryland.
